TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – HOPESPACE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases made on the website hopespace.moe, operated by Hope Space.
By placing an order on this website, you fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms.
1. NATURE OF THE PRODUCTS
Hope Space primarily offers:

Group Orders
-
Preorders
-
Made-to-order items
Most products sold on this website are not in stock at the time of purchase, and are not considered as sales but a proxy purchasing service. For logistic and organizational purposes, this website had been built in order to process proxy purchasing services smoothly. These products are not subjected the VAT.
2. ORDER PROCESS
Orders are fulfilled through a multi-step process:

Order placed on hopespace.moe

Internal review and processing
-
Item purchased from the supplier on behalf of the customer

Production period (variable duration)
-
Shipment to a warehouse or intermediary
-
Consolidation and logistical processing
-
Final shipment from France to the customer
This process is inherent to group orders and preorder-based systems.
3. DEFINITION OF “ORDER PROCESSING”
An order is considered processed once:

The item has been purchased from the supplier, or
-
The order has been included in a group order submission, or
-
Any payment has been made on behalf of the customer
Once an order is processed, it becomes final and non-cancellable.
4. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS BEFORE PROCESSING
A customer may request a cancellation only if the order has not yet been processed.
In this case:

A full refund may be issued
-
The request must be made explicitly and in writing
-
Approval is subject to confirmation that the order has not been processed
Once processing has begun, no cancellations or refunds are possible.
5. “DELIVERED” / “FULFILLED” STATUS ON SHOPIFY
After the item has been purchased from the supplier, the order may appear as “fulfilled” or “delivered” on Shopify.
This is a virtual shipment status, meaning:

No physical shipment to the customer has occurred yet

No tracking number is available at this stage

This status only confirms that the order has been secured and paid for
This practice is standard in group order workflows.
6. PRODUCTION TIMES

Production times vary depending on the supplier
-
Estimated production time can reach 4–5 months or longer
Production delays are outside of Hope Space’s control and do not qualify for refunds.
7. CONSOLIDATION, STORAGE & LOGISTICAL DELAYS
After production:

Items may be temporarily stored
-
Shipments may be consolidated to reduce international shipping costs
These steps may cause additional delays and are part of the normal service.
8. FINAL SHIPPING

Final shipments are sent from France
-
Shipping fees depend on destination, weight, and shipping method
-
A tracking number is provided once the parcel is physically shipped
Hope Space is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
9. CUSTOMS, TAXES & IMPORT FEES
For international orders:

Customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply

These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer
10. SHIPPING ADDRESS & DELIVERY ISSUES
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Hope Space cannot be held responsible for:

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Failed deliveries or returned packages due to address errors
Reshipping fees may apply.
11. LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
Once a package is handed over to the carrier:

Responsibility lies with the shipping service

Assistance may be provided when possible, but refunds are not guaranteed
12. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with applicable consumer laws, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Made-to-order items
-
Preorders
-
Group orders
13. DISPUTES, CHARGEBACKS & ABUSE
The following situations do not constitute valid reasons for disputes or chargebacks:

Long production times
-
Virtual shipment status
-
Consolidation or logistical delays
-
The nature of group orders and preorders
Any abusive chargeback may result in:

Permanent ban from future group orders
-
Submission of evidence to payment platforms (supplier invoices, order records, timelines, communication logs)
14. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By placing an order on hopespace.moe, the customer confirms that they:

Have read and understood these Terms

Accept the group order and preorder system
-
Acknowledge the associated waiting times and processes
